The genesis of “Rubicon” refers to when Julius Caesar marched his army battalion across the River Rubicon (a small stream in northern Italy) in the year 49BC, which ultimately led to one of the most pivotal moments in ancient history. From it, sprang the Roman Empire and the culmination of modern European culture. Crossing the Rubicon was coined a “point of no return” and an unwavering commitment to succeed.
To the Rubicon Oilfield International team, the name is symbolic of the company’s relentless pursuit of building something great with an unwavering commitment to an unmatched customer experience. We love what we do, because after all, we believe crossing the Rubicon is a choice.
